Beautiful weapon.Nov 02, 2006
By C. David Cobb This is an amazing weapon. It is exceptionally well-made, and despite being very heavy, it is well-balanced and feels very good in the hand. Please note that despite the name, this weapon is NOT flexible at all (it's not a "traditional" whip).

Good Modern Interpretation for Mass ProductionSep 11, 2009
By Critic A solid piece of metal, this bian is handy for training with a slightly heavy weapon that can be manipulated easily in hand. I wish it were longer, but this is one of the only interpretations of this weapon outside antiques and custom-made work that is available for interested martial artists. Having two would be a good idea for work with both hands.
