 Works Well and Reasonably Priced - Recommended!May 02, 2010

We bought this "Leg Stretcher" for use at home before going to our twice weekly TeaKwonDo classes. Being in my mid 40s, I am not as flexible as my two teenagers and need extra stretching over what we get in class. While not as effective as the seat type stretchers, it is also a lot less expensive. Here are my observations:
Pros -
+ Easy to Setup; took just 5 minutes or so
+ Easy to Store; collapses for storage
+ Works Well; will give a good stretching of leg and groin muscles
+ Inexpensive; much less expensive than other options
Cons -
- Light weight; tends to lift if not used carefully
- Bolts Drag on Carpet; this is easily resolved by covering bolt heads with "Duct Tape"
Overall, I am very pleased with how well this stretcher works and consider it to be a fairly good value.

This is a very effective tool. I bought this for my husband who is a martial artist. He has been wanting some kind of stretching machine, but being practical as a I am, I bought him this as a birthday gift. It works really well. He recently showed me how to use it and WOW---this is a serious stretching machine. It is very effective and eliminates the need for a more bulky machine. (needless to say my husband still wants to get a machine eventually) I would definitely recommend this product

I brought this product for my son and myself as we are both doing martial arts. For my son I purchased to help him keep his legs straight when he stretches and to help him with his kicks. For me I wanted to improve my kicks and streching exercises. I have noticed a difference in using the device. It's a little akward but it works. I also like the fact that it doesn't take up a lot of room. You just have to make sure that you don't use the device on a hardwood floor because the nut/screw that keeps the device together will scratch your floor. I use it on our basement floor which is carpeted so it's not a big deal for us. Overall I think it's worth the money.

I purchased this item expecting a much easier way to stretch my legs than facing a wall. Simply put, it is. Instead of staring at a wall while stretching my legs, I can now watch TV. The product is sturdy and holds my legs in place. Simple solution to a simple problem.

I was a bit doubtful, not quite understanding how it would work from the photos, but it's a terrific little gizmo, especially for $20. Definitely recommended for those of us who can't quite kick anyone above the shoulder. ;-)
