Great carrying case, has kept my staff well. The only thing I wish is that it had enough room to carry my broadsword in it as well!

Seller giving me the run around on this purchase. the case is well made but is 62". Shorter than advertised. In trying to get correct one sent seller is claiming this is the only size made. Is the only size made 72" as advertised or 62" as received? Take your own chance with this one. I would suggest you look at a more customer oriented seller.

I recently purchased a 6ft long, 1-1/4" diameter bo staff. I purchased this carrying case for an easier way to transport it to and from martial arts club sessions on campus at college as well as to protect it from rain or snow while carrying.
There's a thin layer of foam padding between the outer vinyl and inner felt to protect your equipment. My bo staff just fits inside lengthwise with room to zip the case shut. It zips across the top, and then about 11 inches down the side to insert or remove your weapon(s). There seems to be plenty of room for a second staff. The case easily folds up when empty.
There's an adjustable sling to carry the case over your shoulder. I'm 5'2" tall, and carrying it this way is just a bit awkward, because the bottom of the case almost touches the ground and the strap is a bit tight. But it works, and it sure beats trying to carry my staff around campus any other way, and it frees up my hands completely.
If you need to carry your bo staff from place to place, or use more than one staff, I would recommend this case.

I bought this staff to help transport my bo and jo staves while at college. I found it is more than spacious enough to accomodate both of my staves and it also has a nice sling on it, which makes carrying other equipment much easier. A great piece of gear!

I ordered this product because I can't carry my hiking stick on airplanes. Although a few inches too long for my stick, I think this case will keep it safe in checked baggage. I also think the felt lining will be particularly helpful.
