Be VERY careful with size!Apr 02, 2011
By KJ I read the reviews, I looked up what I thought was the sizing chart, I measured my daughter, ordered what I thought the right size... it arrived 4-5 inches too large.
I asked if they could send a smaller one with me paying for it and they pay shipping but no... was not going to mess with a return so I just ordered a smaller one using the CORRECT sizing chart they e-mailed me.
Excellent product just make sure to have and use the PROPER sizing chart!

Great beginner giNov 24, 2009
By Wennyoh This gi is made well and is great for beginners. It is double seamed so it won't rip and has a full inset gusset for mobility. It is thick enough so it is long lasting, but not so thick as to be heavy.
For those that didn't give it full stars - if you pick the wrong size...of course you have to pay to ship it back...and nowadays to even send something priority FRB costs over $6-7...so you are paying regular shipping!
The review is supposed to be on the item...not on personal errors...
Anyway - thought this gi was great

Poor Communication of Product SizingJan 25, 2005

Be careful when selecting a size. Even though there is a child pictured and the size selection drop down is titled Children's Unisex Size, the sizing includes adult sizes. For example, I ordered a size 8, because my child wears a size 8. If you review the Martial Arts.com sizing chart, you can see that the size 8 is an ADULT size uniform.

Great for the priceNov 20, 2010
By Mom on the move I bought a size 0000 for my 4 yr old and 000 for my 6 yr old (average size kids)......they both fit perfectly but with no room for growth. I'll be getting the bigger ones soon and I will definitely buy this brand again. The price can't be beat and although it is a light weight suit it is not flimsy or fragile. I'm glad to find a light suit that washes really well and doesn't shrink in the dryer and it needs NO IRONING!

OK for skinny kidsNov 08, 2010

This is an OK gi for kids who are starting but they are cut for skinny kids. I would not recommend anything this light weight for an adult.
I purchased a 000 for my boy who just turned 5. I'd guess him to be pretty average in size for his age. 42" and 42 lbs. Size chart said 48" and 40 lbs for a 000. 36" and 30 lbs for the 0000. He is right in the middle height wise so I went with the 000. This was to big so I tried the 0000. The jacket fit ok but the pants were short, tight and the belt was too short. So he's wearing the 000 belt and pants (cuffed) and the 0000 top.
These are a cotton/polyester blend and didn't shrink after the first wash but I hang dry my GI's I don't put them in the dryer.
For those who don't know the proper fit for a Gi is at or above the ankle for pants and at or just above the wrist for sleeves. Some "tournament cut" or "kata cut" Gi's have a longer jackets with sleeves that are midway between the wrist and elbow. The pants are also shorter in length.
They really need like a 000 1/2 because there is a huge starting age group between 3' (3 years old) and 4' (7 years old)
These were both ProForce gi's. I don't know what the Tiger Claw label is about.
