Very comfy, a personal caveatJun 09, 2009
By Melody Vito These shoes are very, very comfy for wearing around the house or around town.
Not for heavy use though. When I wore them outside I got some rocks lodged in the bottom.
My main disappointment was that I bought them for a historical costume, and the foam rubber is way too obvious looking.

copy of the originalJul 14, 2010

If you are looking for the original Japanese zori, this product is not for you. This zori is a product from China or Thailand, meaning poor quality, doesn't fit your feet, wears out in a week and risks your injury by slipping out of the widened/stretched out zori.

Get what you pay for-- which is not much.Jun 22, 2011
By OccamsRazor Cheaply made-cheaply sold. 1.The shoe bed is extremely narrow. 2.The thong( the thingy that goes into webbing between the big and next toe) is made out of clear plastic of the same material as a drinking straw and chaffs terribly.
Quality zori make the thong of the same velvety material as the straps. Not this product. Avoid.

ZoriJul 19, 2008
By Bibliophile These are the perfect indoor shoe! With tabi socks they keep my feet warm all winter long, keeping my feet elevated above the cold floor, but allowing the foot to breathe. In summer, they keep my feet cool and the air circulating around them - including on the bottoms, which plastic zori don't.
I wear them in the house ALL of the time, seven days a week (I work at home) and out on the deck. They usually last about 4-5 months before one of the thongs pulls out, but I am rather rough on them. (When one breaks I will start saving the "good" one to match with the next pair that breaks a thong.)
I've bought four pairs over the past 14 months, and I won't wear anything else indoors. Worth every penny!
Comfortable and durable, and you cant beat the priceOct 04, 2011

I bought these sandals as an every day home to the dojo foot wear, they are durable and super soft. They lasted approximately 2 years before I got rid of them, the tatami straw started to crack, but the whole rest of the sandal was still in fair condition. Bought the same sandals again.
